Kate is seasoned RIVA trained moderator with over 25 years in the business. From Ogilvy & Mather she learned the power of using creative insight. At Procter & Gamble and later at Labatt Breweries, Kate learned the disciplines of rich consumer research fundamentals and applied these to brands like Cover Girl, Ivory, Kokanee and Keith’s. At Charlton Insights, she learned how to grow a boutique consulting business in her role as VP and Senior Strategist, honing in on a specialized interest in sports (NFL Int’l) and entertainment (Astral Media), as well as pioneering the development of several syndicated research studies.
Kate founded Open Door Insights in 2008 and combines her expertise in both quantitative and qualitative methodologies to help Clients quickly understand issues, identify opportunities and take appropriate action.
When she’s not listening to what people have to say, Kate can be found photographing the world around her or hiking the forests and trails with her fun loving, energetic Rhodesian Ridgeback, Maya.
